The FIRESTOP Applique 37 Drop Down Seals are designed to form an effective barrier against the outside climate, including noise, light, fire, smoke and insects, and are activated by the closing action of the door, meaning that the seal only drops down when the door is closed. The seals are available in a variety of lengths and can be cut down to size and are supplied with complete screws, to ensure quick and easy fitting on either the inside or the outside of the door. The seals are acoustically tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3:1995 achieving a rating of up to 37dB Rw, fire tested to BS476: Part 20/22: 1987 to 60 minutes and smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3: 2004. It has a satin anodised aluminium finish with galvanised steel flat springs and reinforced actuators and is endurance-tested to 200,000 cycles with a 14mm maximum drop.
Please note that the manufacturer recommends using an allen key for adjustments (not supplied with this product).
